par8o (pronounced "par-eight-oh") is named after the 19th Century Italian economist, Vilfredo Pareto, who first defined the powerful economic concept of Pareto efficiency or Pareto optimality in which a system is able to maximize benefits for each and every participant.
When applied to the healthcare industry, Pareto optimality holds the promise of being able to improve overall access to healthcare while lowering costs.
Life at par8o is busy. We work just as hard at the office as we do at home, many of us travel frequently, and success requires a high level of self-direction while being an excellent team communicator.
We are all here because we want to make healthcare better. We strive to be the best at what we do. We hire quality over quantity; we continually punch above our weight class, and we're proud of it.
Culture: Work hard. Innovate. Communicate. Love dogs. Go outside your job description. Help others. And be ready to dress up in Star Wars-themed costumes for a company meeting.
par8o's closest T stop is the Aquarium (Blue line), but we are also walking distance from Downtown Crossing (Red/Orange lines) and Government Center (Green/Blue lines).
For those that use the commuter rail, par8o is about a 15-20 minute walk from both North Station and South Station.
